A message from Principal Rebecca Reynolds:
Who would have imagined that life as we know it could have changed this abruptly?
St. Mary Academy rose to the occasion for the 2020-2021 school year and has adapted two ways to attend school. You have the option of your child returning to campus or as a synchronous learner.
In the fourth quarter, we have heard from parents things like, “Wow! I had no idea my child needed so many reminders to stay focused.” and “I see now that my child needs extra.”
At St. Mary Academy, supporting students with focus and attention issues is one of our specialties. Many students come to us struggling to understand a concept they were taught years before and just never quite mastered. We can help.
Our program is designed to instruct students at the level where they are ready to learn. In doing this, we strive to close any gaps in learning, strengthen skills, and continue to challenge. So, as we navigate this unforeseen circumstance, let’s all take a deep breath together and know that we will get through this as a community.
Our school year has begun strong. Teachers are working hard with the students in the class and also with the students at home. We have the technology to make this possible. We are all united in this and will remain steadfast and true to our mission at St. Mary Academy.
St. Mary Academy aspires to provide a safe environment, rooted in Catholic teachings, for a unique community of diverse learners, while nurturing spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical potential to help cultivate lifelong stewards of Christ.
We look forward to meeting you in person soon. In the meantime, explore our website, Come in for a tour, and feel inspired knowing that when our world returns to normal, St. Mary Academy will be here to help your child soar.
In His Peace,
