Monday 1/30/17: Celebrating Vocations
Dress: Yellow and white dress--Vatican Day
8:15-8:30 CSW Morning Prayer Service
8:30 - 9:30 Buddy Activity
9:38 - 2:30 Regular Schedule
We have some sizes available if your child needs a shirt for Tuesday.
Tuesday 1/31/17: Celebrating Our Students and School
Dress: Spirit Day with Blue or Khaki bottoms or Regular Dress Uniform (no PE bottoms)
Parents: Expect a special treat in car line--so everyone slow down a little this morning
8:15-10:15 Prospective Family Meet and Greet
Lunch: Free to all students: Baked Ziti, Garlic Bread, Vegetable, and cookie--if your child does not like this option, they will need to come with a lunch as nothing else will be served today
1:30-2:30 Sports Pep Rally in Zazzarino Center
Wednesday 2/1/17: Celebrating our Families
Dress: Family Dress Day (Think of the last time you took a family picture...did you all coordinate your tops, bottoms, hair, etc. Come dressed in coordinating family attire.)
All family members are invited to be with us from 9:30-12:30 p.m. to attend our special family events. Look for a signup via email so we have an accurate count.
9:30-Family Rosary in SAH
10:00-11:00 Pro Kids Show--in Zazarino Center (Permission slip attached)
11:00-12:30 Family Picnic--parents can bring in lunch and picnic with their child in the back lawn--bring blankets, lawn chairs, coolers. After lunch, stop by the tents and make your own cookie dessert. They are heart shaped; after all, families share the love of Jesus.
12:30---Students return to classrooms (parents are welcome to sign their children out and spend the rest of the day as a family
Aftercare is available for those families needing these services.
Thursday 2/2/17: Celebrating Our Community: Faith in Action through Service to Others
Dress: PE Uniform
All students must bring a fully disposable snack, lunch, and drink--no cafeteria services.
All students will be having a chance to put their faith in action by being of service to various community groups. Permission slips in Friday Folders for those leaving campus. Today, we will be serving the following groups:
- All Faiths Food Bank
- Siesta Key Beach Clean Up
- St. Martha Early Learning Center-reading with preschoolers
- Casa Santa Marta--creating valentine project with residents
- Boys and Girls Club--grounds clean up
- Southeastern Guide Dogs--creating dog collars for the puppies
- Sarasota County Animal Services--making dog treats for the animals
- Sarasota Memorial Hospital--making prayer cards
- Sarasota County Postal Workers-making special treats for postal workers
- SRQ Vets--Blessing bags and Valentines for Vets
Friday 2/3/2017: Grandparents Day Catholic Schools Build a Legacy of Faith, Knowledge, and Service
Dress: Regular Uniform--no PE
Grandparent(s) are welcome to bring grandchild with them when they come. All tardies are excused for this day.
8:00-8:30 Sign in Zazarino Center--enjoy piano music provide by Tom Lelyo while you wait
8:30-9:30 Mass in Zazarino Center
9:40-10:15 Performances from school cheer leaders and other groups
10:15 Grandchildren take grandparents to homeroom. For those children who arrived with their grandparent, attendance will be taken at this time. Grandparents are also welcome to sign grandchildren out if taking them for the day
Snacks will be provided in homerooms
Be sure to stop by blue curtains for pictures and take a tour of all the domes.
